Covid-19 pandemics: important notice
Organisers of the 30th International Baltic Road Conference are fully aware of the implications of Covid-19 pandemics for the time being and will address every related risk in adequate and timely manner. Organisers are closely following the information regularly updated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs https://www.mfa.gov.lv/en/ and the recommendations of the Centre for Disease Prevention and Control https://www.spkc.gov.lv/lv .
Considering that a vast number of countries around the world undertakes tremendous efforts in vaccinating their inhabitants against Covid-19 virus, the organisers expect that at the end of August, 2021, the restrictions for public gatherings and travelling will be less strict. Therefore the 30th International Baltic Road Conference is still planned as a physical event to be held in Riga, Latvia.
At the same time, the organisers will provide additional registration opportunity for an on-line participation for those individuals who are interested in the event but will not be able to travel to Latvia in August.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: If the situation with Covid-19 pandemics does not improve or deteriorates even further during spring, 2021, the organisers will make a decision to organise the 30th International Baltic Road Conference as a fully virtual event.
This decision will be made in adequate manner well before the event. If such a decision is made by the organisers, the already registered regular participants will be notified and will be offered either partial refund and registration as on-line participants or full refund without any additional cost.
